Earlier this month Commercial & Specialised Diving received an urgent call about a potentially hazardous situation at an historic slipway on the Isle of Portland
.
A two-meter section of steel rail had become bent and needed urgent removal from the slipway and CSD were just the team for the job. Within a few hours our dive team were on-site inspecting the slipway. The partially detached rail was successfully removed and a new one bolted back in place.
Our rapid-response meant that the popular and heavily used slipway was made safe, repaired and ready for action within five hours of our arrival on-site. Now that’s what we call an Emergency Call-out Service!
