Anchors away!

Lane swimming is a popular pass time for all levels of swimmer.  Some use it for gentle exercise while others train for competitive sports.  In many pools lane swimming can be occurring at the same time as a general session and the lane ropes are used to segregate swimming areas.

There can be a lot of resistance when installing lane ropes as they are pulled into place. Pool users may hang or pull on to the ropes. All of this can add strain and pressure onto the anchor points.
