Weed and marine growth can rapidly form a layer of life over surfaces underwater, especially during the summer.
In order for surfaces to be visually inspected this layer of growth needs to be removed. High pressure jet cleaning is used to remove marine growth and any delaminated corrosion underwater. The action of the high water pressure from the jet cleaning equipment will blast away marine growth leaving a clean surface.
Structures that require regular underwater inspection include harbour walls, piers and bridge legs, amongst many others.
