Remotely operated vehicles (ROV’s) are often utilised by Commercial and Specialised Diving who have a highly mobile and versatile ROV which contains a camera and is ideal for carrying out underwater inspections.
ROVs have multiple benefits. They can be used to reach places that are too small for a diver to access and they can remain in the water for an extended periods of time. They can also be used in environments that are too hazardous for a diver, such as areas with differentiating pressures or at great depths.
